Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SalonOS, an appointment scheduling platform operated by SalonOS (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SalonOS.

1. The service

SalonOS provides appointment scheduling, client management, and related tools for salon professionals and small businesses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@salonos.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use SalonOS. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload or transmit content that is harmful, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the service to send unsolicited communications (spam) to your clients.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the service.

4. Your data and your clients

You retain ownership of the business and client data you enter into SalonOS. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to store your clients’ personal data and for complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR where relevant).

5. Payments and subscriptions

Paid features are billed on a subscription basis. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

6. Intellectual property

SalonOS and its content (excluding your data) are owned by SalonOS and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SalonOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
